Paolo Golinelli
Paolo Golinelli, architect and designer, graduated from the Politecnico di Milano, where he served as an adjunct professor from 2004 to 2014.
In 1992, together with Margherita Sala, he founded the studio Golinelli Sala Architetti Associati.
In 1998, he won the ADI Compasso d’Oro award in the Young Design category.
Alongside his design work for various companies in the design field (De Padova, Bonacina 1889, Atelier DeVecchi, Zoltan, Nomade, Tiffany, Quattrifolio, Vibram, Outlook Design Italia, Steel, Brunati Italia), he engages in design and research focused on the redevelopment of existing building heritage, with a particular interest in historical buildings. He has participated in competitions and published articles and essays on design topics and spaces for culture.
He has been invited to give lectures at the Politecnico di Milano, Politecnico di Torino, NABA in Milan, and in 2012, he conducted a design workshop at Lau in Lebanon.
In June 2015, the Faculty of Industrial Design in Florence hosted an exhibition on his design work titled: Paolo Golinelli Designer, Fifteen Projects Told.
He is among the founders of the design association Atelier Mobile, with which he participated in the exhibition "999 Questions About Living" at the Triennale di Milano in 2018.
